PRSSA Champlain

Through a variety of philanthropic and social activities, PRSSA Champlain inspires its members to adopt important values such as leadership, empathy, and ambition, and to always strive for excellence. Since 2016, our purpose has been to provide the means of professional development for students. We provide opportunities to meet with PR, Communication, and Marketing professionals in a mentorship capacity, attend conferences to represent Champlain, as well as gain insight and knowledge in the field.

Yankee PRSA

Our chapter is fortunate to have tremendous help from our professional host chapter. The Yankee Chapter of PRSA is composed of approximately 100 public relations professionals who work in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Student members of New England PRSSA chapters are eligible for various grants, internships, and scholarships offered through Yankee Chapter PRSA.

Join the nation's largest community of public relations and communications professionals. The Yankee Chapter of PRSA is composed of approximately 100 public relations professionals who work in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. The Yankee Chapter meets approximately every other month for professional development sessions and networking opportunities. Meetings feature seminars, prominent speakers, workshops, and discussions on various topics and issues of interest to those who practice public relations. The sessions also provide the opportunity for professionals at all levels to improve and refresh their skills and to meet and converse with colleagues from throughout northern New England.

PRSSA National

Founded in 1967, the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is the foremost organization for students interested in public relations and communications. It's members advocate rigorous academic standards for public relations education, the highest ethical principles, and diversity in the profession.

The Champlain PRSSA chapter is the only chapter in Vermont and one of 300+ PRSSA chapters in the United States, Argentina, Colombia, and Peru. PRSSA is an international organization with a network of over 300 chapters offering its members professional opportunities that enhance their careers in a variety of fields including strategic communication, public relations, and integrated marketing.
